Mistra offers trainee positions to newly arrived graduates

The large number of refugees coming to Sweden prompted Mistra to offer individuals with an academic background trainee placements on its research programmes. Many of these new arrivals have qualifications or professional experience that could be of interest to the programmes, at the same time as those offered a traineeship will have a chance to establish themselves more quickly in Swedish society.

During the year, Samar Ramli from Palestine started to do research on migration and urbanisation with Mistra Urban Futures, while Fayez Alsaleh from Syria joined AquaAgri’s project on lobster farming.
